The definition of old to beat a "good" is different from today's politically correct definition of "hits". This represents a very severe beating for the recipient to remember the event, but not serious enough to have left traces that actual or physical damage.

A "spanking" was also recognized by other penalties that accompany such as removal of privileges, extra duties, so that this man has time to think them, for their acts and be rewarded bad behavior through discipline. And also that the father had to manage the power and the right to discipline, "he said.

We are not talking seriously harm children.

My parents took me to a switch in my legs when I was on the track. But not for minor offenses.

I was on the right track. lol. No answer, no friend, finished high school, college, became a policeman, married, had a child .. etc. Lol.

I work with young people of today ... I can always tell those who fought. There are lots of them ... and are very rude and disrespectful. Spoiled.

I have a select group of children who have self-discipline and parents were satisfied it had not been beaten.
